Medtrade 2027 runs March 23 to 25, 2027, at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas. It is the show’s first time in Fort Worth. Registration opened in late October 2026, with the lowest rates ($65 for an expo pass, $235 for a full conference pass) available through November 20, 2026.
Medtrade is the US home medical equipment industry’s trade show and conference. Emerald owns and operates it. It pairs an exhibit floor of HME manufacturers, technology and service companies with an education program; the 2026 edition added a competitive bidding track. Attendees are mostly HME and DME provider owners and managers, plus manufacturer and distributor staff, payers and association leaders. AAHomecare sits on the education advisory board and extended its partnership in the show through the 2031 edition.
Manufacturers time product launches and dealer programs to the show, and association legislative priorities get their first live airing there.
Organizers expect more than 2,500 HME professionals and more than 300 exhibitors in 2027, including 15 percent more first-time exhibitors than in 2026, per HME News.
Prior-year facts: Medtrade 2026 ran March 2 to 4 at the Phoenix Convention Center. The exhibit hall had more than 360 exhibitors, 116 of them new, and the show director reported a 14 percent increase in conference attendees over 2025. Before Phoenix, the show spent three years in Dallas (2023 to 2025) after Emerald consolidated to one show a year in 2022.
One ownership note: Apollo-managed funds agreed in May 2026 to acquire Emerald Holding at $5.03 per share and combine it with Questex. As of 2026-10-30 we have not seen a closing announcement.
