Daily Mobility Digest is a weekly digest of news for the mobility industry, published Monday mornings. Readers are DME and complex rehab dealers, wheelchair, scooter and walking-aid manufacturers, the clinicians who prescribe and fit equipment, the payers who reimburse it, and the people who use it.
What each issue contains
Every issue follows the same shape and reads in a few minutes.
- Lead. The one story of the week that most of the industry needs to know.
- Policy and reimbursement. CMS rules, competitive bidding, HCPCS and fee schedule changes, state Medicaid moves, Medicare Advantage policy, FDA actions.
- Companies. Acquisitions, financing, leadership changes, store openings and closures, earnings from public companies in the space.
- Products. New equipment, recalls and product changes, described by what they do and how they work.
- Research. Peer-reviewed studies and government reports on mobility equipment and the people who use it.
- Events. Trade shows, clinical conferences and legislative days, with dates and registration notes.
- Announcements. Material submitted by companies and organizations, labelled as such.
Each item links to its primary source and ends with one line on why it matters to the industry.
Explainers, company pages and event pages
Beyond the weekly issue, the site keeps three kinds of reference pages. Coverage explainers describe how a rule or program works (Medicare wheelchair coverage, for example) and carry an updated date. Company pages give a neutral profile of the dealers, manufacturers, distributors, technology firms, associations and payers that appear in the news. Event pages list each show or conference by year with verified dates, venue, organizer and audience.

The email starts once enough readers ask for it. Until then every issue is published on the site each Monday morning. If you want the email, write to editor@dailymobilitydigest.com with “subscribe” in the subject line and we will add you to the list and tell you when it begins.
How to submit an announcement
Companies and organizations can submit product news, personnel changes, events and other announcements to editor@dailymobilitydigest.com. Include a link to the original release. Announcements run in a labelled section, separate from editorial items, at the editors’ discretion. There is no charge and no guarantee of publication.
