Abilities Expo 2027

Abilities Expo is a free consumer show for people with disabilities, their families and the professionals who serve them. It travels to several US cities each year. The organizer, Raccoon Media Group, has announced six 2027 stops:

• Los Angeles: January 14 to 16, 2027, Long Beach Convention Center, Halls A-C
• New York Metro: April 30 to May 2, 2027, New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center
• Chicago: June 11 to 13, 2027, Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center
• Houston: August 6 to 8, 2027, NRG Center, Hall E
• Phoenix: September 10 to 12, 2027, WestWorld of Scottsdale
• Orlando: October 8 to 10, 2027, OHP Events Center

Admission is free with registration. Each show runs three days, with daytime hours and an Early Access Hour for visitors with sensory disabilities. The floor mixes mobility equipment and other adaptive products and services with workshops and a free wheelchair repair pavilion.

For the trade, Abilities Expo is where manufacturers meet end users directly. In 2027 the professional track, the Abilities International Accessibility Conference, runs at only two stops: Long Beach on January 14 to 15 and New York Metro on April 29 to 30. The Chicago professional conference held in 2026 is dropped for 2027, and a networking reception on the show floor replaces the Exhibitor Zone. RESNA, the Clinician Task Force, U.S. Rehab, NCART and the International Seating Symposium are partners in the conference program. RESNA’s 2027 annual conference is co-located with the New York Metro event.

Prior-year facts: the 2025 Long Beach show drew more than 13,000 visitors. The 2027 Long Beach edition is expanding from two to three exhibit halls with more than 200 exhibitors. We found no published attendance figures for the other 2026 cities as of 2026-10-30.
